This is a process video of a junk journal style mixed media cover for Halfway To Halloween. I started the cover with some of the spooky cloth from Dollar Tree, and then tried to soften the hard texture with first one, then two layers of napkin decoupaged on to the cover. Finally I decided to add color with paint and eventually mica sprays by Tim Holtz. I’m happy with the cover, now we just need to decide if the finished project will be a junk journal with signatures or a book box. What’s your choice?
